- Nationality: Candidates must be a Nigerian citizen with a valid means of identification (BVN, NIN, voter’s card, driver’s license etc.).
- Physical and Medical Fitness: Candidates must be medically, physically and psychologically fit in accordance with Nigerian Army standards and with no tattoo markings. Persons with disabilities (PWDs) are limited to apply

- Educational Qualification: Candidates must have a unique certificate in WASSCE/NECO/NABTEB with atleast 5 credits pass inclusive of Mathematics and English Language in not more than 2 sittings
